Gemma Torcivia

Gemma Torcivia is an associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach office. Ms. Torcivia received an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Florida International University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University. While in law school, Ms. Torcivia was the evening section Vice President of the Student Bar Association, was on the winning team of the 2016 Florida Bar Chester H. Bedell Trial Team Competition and was a member of the Moot Court and Negotiation Teams. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Torcivia worked as a law clerk and attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.

Ms. Torcivia is a member of the Florida Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida. Her professional affiliations include the Palm Beach County and South Palm Beach County chapters of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Palm Beach Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the Eleventh Circuit.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Torcivia served as a New Markets Tax Credits consultant, and as the director of the Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member who taught high school special education in Miami.
