Brett Halperin



Brett Halperin is an associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach Office. Mr. Halperin received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Florida. Mr. Halperin received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, Brett was awarded the Holland & Knight as well as the Dunspaugh-Dalton scholarships. He was named a student ambassador and tapped into the oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary in the state of Florida, Florida Blue Key. Mr. Halperin was nominated and confirmed by the Student Body Government to serve as a Supreme Court Justice until his graduation from Law School. While completing his Law School education, Mr. Halperin also volunteered over 100 Pro-Bono hours providing Income Tax assistance to indigent members of the Gainesville community. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Halperin has worked for the Office of the Attorney General in the Economic Crimes Division as well as a Clerk for the Honorable Judge John W. Thornton in the Complex Business Litigation Division for the 11th Judicial Circuit Court in Miami, Florida.

Mr. Halperin is a member of the Florida Bar Association, and is admitted in Florida state court. Mr. Halperin practices in various areas of litigation, including, property damage, personal injury, products liability, general negligence, commercial litigation, premises liability, construction defects, trucking and auto liability, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith.
